Comment: My coworker said I shouldn’t try this spot, but I didn’t listen :’) Wow is it BAAAAD. The ramen smelled super funky when it arrived, but we overlooked it and tried a bite anyway. Big mistake. The broth tasted like they added a bunch of spices to dirty water. It was horrid. So we tried the pork belly and wow was it tough! There was no way to bite through it. It would just stretch without tearing away from itself. Brought it to the employees attention and they said they couldn’t change it because it varies based on how they cook the meat that day, sometimes it’s tender, sometimes it’s tough and fatty. That’s crazy if you can’t maintain consistency in food. And then the bamboo shoots… usually one of my favorite parts of ramen, but this one had such an off putting smell and taste. Almost like if you’ve ever smelled stale urine that’s been sitting for hours. Noodles taken out of the water way before they were ready, and the broth wasn’t hot enough to continue cooking them. MAJOR PASS on this spot.

Comment: I really don’t get how this place has the rating it does. It may have been good in the past, but the ramen here is beyond rancid and disgusting. The broth smells awful, definitely nothing food should smell remotely like. And the noodles were so undercooked they still had the curls to them that you’d expect from instant ramen. Do the employees fix their mistakes? No. This is definitely a college student “ramen” spot.

Comment: We have eaten here several times over the last few years and it has always been on point. The Ramen is delicious. The broth is definitely not a generic mix, its made overnight for the next day. The service is fast and friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is bright, open, and clean. They have several great beers and other beverages. Each time we have been, it has been pretty crowded. That didnt slow the service. Highly recommend for a great bowl of Ramen or any of their other dishes!

I’m not gonna lie I can’t remember what it was called but it’s so good that I’m about to drive 2 1/2 hours back down there just to get some of those noodles!! Delicious food, right in the city, and affordable prices- couldnt ask for anything more. That black garlic flavor sends me to another dimension.I ordered takeout on my way out for my husband at home and they gave me entirely the wrong thing. I ordered tankatsu ramen with a side of karage for him and they gave me pho. He was really looking forward to ramen, but its hard to be disappointed when its as tasty as it was.

Comment: I had lunch here on several occasions. While their food is okay I recently had a very unpleasant experience. It was a very hot day when I needed to get a refill of drinking water. I was crossing the restaurant and I thought since I have been there several times in the past I can ask them for a water refill. As I entered the door and requested the person at the counter that I simply need a water refill this time, she declined saying that I could get a refill only if I ordered first. That hurt a bit honestly and I was in a shock for a little while.

Comment: The food here is DELICIOUS! Serving size is generous and very flavorful! Very authentic taste and flavor. I also had the tamarind fried chicken and crab Rangoons. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. The marinade was perfect! The crab rangoons were crispy on the outside and the filling was smooth and creamy and just the right thickness. For dessert we tried both the mango passion fruit soft serve AND the cherry lime soft serve…both very delicious and refreshing. The flavors worked well together and not too tart! I would definitely recommend eating here for full flavor, great atmosphere and friendly service!

Comment: Nudo House is my go-to for some take out ramen or Pho! I live downtown, so I can place the order, hop in the car, and it’s ready as soon as I pull up. Their selection is great, and the ingredients are always fresh. You’ve gotta try the Pho Shizzle if you want a mix of proteins and a spicy broth, but if you’re looking for a classic ramen to hit the spot, then give the o’miso spicy or the tantamen. While I usually grab this as take out, the dining room is always full of people and the big tables make it feel like a very social way to enjoy a meal.

It may be a certain inauthentic way they make it, but I like it.-The pho broth here is a more aromatic, sweet, and fish saucy pho broth.-the homemade chili oil is greatBad:the umami crisp was overly salty for no reason. The typical ingredients for a Vietnamese banh mi didn’t taste very authentic to me like the carrots. Personally, I think the pate here is not that great.The Vietnamese chicken salad didn’t taste very authentic and seemed like they are trying to cater to a more American audienceThe pho takeout bowl needs to be a bigger size. I had to eat in the deli container. The rare beef meat portion in it is also not that great. I got the deluxe. I feel like the deluxe should get more meat than the normal beef pho, but it did not seem like it. And I don’t know if this was a mistake, but in my pho takeout bowl they put bean sprouts under the noodles, but also gave a side bag of bean sprouts.I went in between 8-9 pm so I’m unsure if this night crew was just not making everything up to standard. I’ve been here multiple times and I’ve had crispier banh mis before.

Comment: We have a tradition of going to get pho for my little sisters birthday (19). She picked this place and she did not disappoint. I had the Pho shizzle it was amazing loved it! Large portions I couldnt finish mine but my dad and sister finished theirs. My husband got the classic nudo and loved it (hes not a fan of pho but is a fan of ramen) we also tried the takoyaki, wasnt disappointed! The service was awesome to, I cant remember the guys name (I wanna say Mike 🤔) amazing guy answered all our questions gave us back story to the place and was just extremely helpful and just amazing service from this guy above and beyond. Really made our experience there awesome and definitely would recommend and will now be our go to spot of our traditional eating of pho.

The bahn mi was tasty, but the bread was way too soft, there was not much jalapeño and the cilantro was mostly stems. The pickled carrot was boring and it would have been better if it was mixed with pickled daikon (no daikon is on this sandwich). Menu says the sandwich has cucumber, but there wasn’t any. Sandwich was decently priced so I wasn’t mad. I’ve just had much better bahn mi.

OMG $8 sandwich, its Delmar everything is expensive. Nope this puts subway to shame for the price. Good size sandwich on bread with some chew. Also had chicken and papaya salad. The Classic Nudo and Spicy Miso were some of my personal favorites. The spice was mild to moderate which I enjoyed.The tonkotsu was a beautiful creamy white, although I didnt try it so I cant speak to the taste. Comment: We ordered the spicy miso and the nduja ramen. While I feel that the broths were made in house, the miso lacked body and umami. The broth didnt stick to the noodles like it should. The nduja tasted a bit better thanks to the nduja. I get that nudo serves different ethnic cuisines on their menu to draw a larger group, but I think they lost their focus in the process. The cha siu was bland and had a prominent flavor of ginger. Not much else.

The big guy at the register is awesome and makes your experience feel like your part of the family.They have a pretty decent menue to select from as well as specials that are always worth the try. If its your first time ever time ever trying real ramen(not the stuff out of a plastic pack) I recommend the Hebrew hammer or the classic.

I had the miso ramen with extra chashu and the missus had the mushroom ramen. Both had great depth of flavor and the toppings were a great addition to the ramen. Will have to try the pho next time!!

Comment: So I really wanted to like this place. Have heard great things from a lot of people. We ordered our noods as takeout and specifically made both orders vegan. I was put off a bit when I picked up our order and two meals, an app, and two soft serves were over 50 bucks. My food looks good and is actually quite tasty. My husband looks at his meal and says “is that pork?” Big old hunks of pork all over his otherwise vegan bowl of noodles. Kind of expecting it to be a joke or something, we called to see if they can do anything to resolve the issue. She pretty much says no but her manager can call us in two days. Never heard anything from the manager. Pretty dang disappointed and won’t be returning.

Comment: Ordered gluten free ramen and got VERY SICK. I called them and apparently the ingredients are marinated in soy sauce. THATS NOT GLUTEN FREE! The only thing that makes their gluten free ramen gluten free is they use rice noodles... Meanwhile the dish STILL CONTAINS GLUTEN. The man on the phone didnt seem to care. Thats incredibly misleading and a health hazard for any customers with Celiac disease or a significant gluten sensitivity. Do not order the gluten free ramen if you have a legitimate gluten sensitivity.

So we drove 280 miles to go to the Zoo and my wife and I love all things noodles so when I saw this place from another local guide, I had to try it. Seeing they had takoyaki....icing, total icing. It was fantastic along with the ramen and spring rolls. I had tonkatsu ramen and my wife had the spicy miso. As we drove back home we were both trying to figure out when we would go back. Yes, we are willing to drive almost 600 miles round trip to eat here again. I asked and no, they wont deliver to me. Chris, thanks again for the ice cream. See you soon.

Google allowed us glimpses in to the future of possibilities. Our mouths salviated at the sight of Classic Ramen and the Pho Shizzel.Was this to good to be true? We parked out front and on the door and windows it was displaying the words. We send NOODs!-via postmates.My fiance looked to me and we knew we reached our destiny. We called first on the clock of 11:am. Cashier 2 answered. Cashier 2 was amazing her understanding of culinary temptations succeeded in lightening our pocket book. Not only did we get our Classic Ramen and the Pho Shizzel, but spring rolls and crab ragoon too. Have you ever had crab ragoon that is made perfectly? Done enough so that everything was perfectly cooked not crisp but...perfection.12 out of 10.Our first time there and our food done in 5 minutes... Five minutes, I spent more time deciding what to eat!The decore is amazing. Though empty due to lock down it gave us a chance to appreciate it with out a distraction. We tipped the ninja training fund both in bank and on card. Cashier 2 I never got your name! But let it be know you have touched me (obviously not litterally due to social distancing.) We will forever be in awe of the food coma we entered just 35 minutes after *partially* finishing our food.Why are you not there? 5 minutes for classic ramen! By the time you finished editing this post for grammar and punctuation mistakes you could be standing infront of Cashier 2 getting some of the fastest best soup of your life.Look for my update...Next week...Sandwhiches...

Comment: Nudo House on Delmar is delicious. I ordered the Hebrew Hammer. WOW! TASTE EXPLOSION!!! The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, the broth was simmering excellence. The hard boiled 1/2 egg is marinated so it is brown but dont raise an eyebrow, dig in! The meat was soft and just the right texture. I used my chop sticks, yeah i looked like an amateur as i splashed everywhere but that is part of the experience. They have off brand sodas and i got the diet which tasted just like diet pepsi. Give it a go, I think you will be full on just half of bowl...ENJOY!

Comment: We were very satisfied by the flavor of the curry with Japanese squash (fried). Nudo offers decently priced drinks with a local selection in addition to their frozen slush cocktails. The spring rolls were good but mostly lettuce with the selected meat option. Fast casual, had a 90s soundtrack playing which added nostalgia when we were there. We will certainly be back.

Comment: Ordered via Postmates and order arrived incomplete. Pho was missing the main ingredients (shrimp) and Egg rolls were missing. When I called, the manager offered a sarcastic apology and said they were very busy with 14 Postmates orders. It’s my understanding that other restaurants turn off their Postmates availability when extremely busy. He offered a refund for the missing items, but we figured out the refund through Postmates and had to make other plans for dinner.I understand that mistakes like this can happen, but because of the rudeness of the manager I won’t be ordering from Nudo (in person or on Postmates) again. That’s unfortunate because I really liked the Ramen I had previously.

Comment: Great ramen! I had the O Miso Spicy which was just a little spicy, but delicious. We also had the crab rangoon, which were great. And the beef pho, which was wonderful as well. The service was very friendly and fast. Only downside was the restaurant is very small and a bit crowded. Only one bathroom means waiting in the hallway to use it.

Comment: Great looking place and matched by the delicious food. I had the crab ragoon and miso spicy ramen. It all came out crazy fast and was amazing. The broth had such a complex flavor and it all work so well together. Got some ice cream on the way out which was a perfect ending. If you havent been I would recommend you make a trip.
