Comment: I was in town for work and stopped by this restaurant. It was fairly busy and I ordered a takeout order with a St. Louis roll and a regular sashimi. It came with salad and soup. The salad was just iceberg lettuce with dressing. The soup was standard. The roll was pretty good. The sashimi was not very good because got massive pieces of fish that were just way too big to handle. It would’ve been so much better if they had sliced them thinner. The point of sashimi is not just to have a whole bunch of raw fish. It’s to have, essentially what you would get with nigiri, but without the rice. Truthfully, I didn’t even finish this sashimi because it wasn’t that good. I don’t know if I’ve said that about sashimi. Ever. It came with tuna, salmon, white tuna, SUPER CHEWY yellowtail (probably cut in the wrong direction), and mackerel. I should have gotten something else.

I tried the St. Louis roll deep-fried option and it cooked the sushi inside. I didnt expect that. I was expecting it to be like friend tempura ice cream where the ice cream inside is still ice cream and not melted. So Im disappointed about that. But the server was attentive so thats a plus.

The waiter immediately came to the table, took our drink order, and explained the menu. We placed our orders and the sushi came up in about 10 minutes. The sushi was PHENOMENAL, honestly the best Ive ever had (Ive had sushi all across the country). You have to try the fried Oreo and the Honey Roll both were incredible. You would never think an all-you-can-eat sushi place would be some of the best sushi youve had, but I bring people here from everywhere and they back me up every time. After removing them this rice is so delicious and so fresh. Some fried rice drags you down but this rice you can be full and continue your day. I love it! Everything is perfectly steamed and seasoned.I also occasionally order the Gyoza! Love it.I always order a California roll with eel sauce! Delicious. Fresh and simple.What I don’t like is the chicken. The texture is strange. Flat and chews like gristle sometimes. I didn’t like it and stayed away from it. I also didn’t like the chicken teriyaki stir fry as the sauce was strange? It was runny. But I do think again it might’ve been the mushrooms. They truly add a funny taste/smell to me.

Definitely the salmon thing, which I cant remember the exact name, but just melts in your mouth when eating. Certain rolls definitely taste better than others, like the TNT roll. All by all, decent amount to choose from for the all you can eat option. Definitely not the fastest or friendliest at some times, because it does take time to roll them and it can be quite busy at times.

They use a honey cheese in several rolls, giving them a hint of sweet. The Phoenix also adds eel sauce and wasabi Mayo. Roger was a great server. Comment: Everything was AMAZING, with very reasonable prices and a great selection. I love the ambiance inside, and I was able to park across the street in the Culinaria garage without an issue. I enjoyed their sushi, and the fish tasted very fresh. Great and prompt service, and I will definitely be returning.

Comment: I did the all you can eat sushi for $20 and it was amazing ♡ I went with a group of coworkers (12 people) and we all had a great time. I believe since we had a large party they automatically added the tip to our checks but it wasnt a lot maybe $3-4 which I usually tip around $5. We went on a Wednesday night and were there for 2.5 hours lol we ate a lot. I had the large plate pictured and another plate with about half as much. I had people with me who easily ordered 5 plates as big as my large one. I loved the Rocky roll which was a type I had never had. The eel sushi was amazing ^.^ which is great since eel is my favorite. Id highly recommend this place but please keep in mind if you go and theres a lot of people service is going to take awhile also while the sushi was very good this is by no means a high end sushi place. If your looking for a great place to go with family and friends you will not be disappointed. 10/10 will be going back to introduce other people

Comment: I shouldve done the buffet style. When the quality of the sushi is only mediocre, you have to do the buffet. Thats the only reason I would come here again.Service was great, while the venue appeared very run-down. I might have to try one of their other locations because this review may have only been specific to their downtown location. And as a California girl, I neeeeed to find my sushi fix.It seems as though their rolls are hit or miss.. It was too much of a gamble to choose only a few. While the salmon (sake) sashimi was very good, along with its sauce that I was skeptical about at first, their spicy combo roll was the best of the three rolls we chose, I almost had to spit out the St Louis style roll. It had cream cheese and honey in it, but imagine that served room temperature, if not warmer than that.Speaking of room temperature, they served what couldve been a very refreshing and tasty Strawberry long island iced tea at room tempertature as well. The ingredients were good, but they shouldve been refrigerated. Not pleasant.Finally, the fried green tea ice cream was good in theory, but there was more batter than ice cream and the texture was honestly like a microwaved tempura (not crispy, a little soggy and greasy).

Comment: Had a great experience. I asked to finish my buffet in less than 20 minutes and they happily accommodated by making my sushi as soon as possible. Furthermore, they have great deals such as all-you-can-eat or combos. All in all the sushi and food is delicious and the service is great.

Comment: Love the food, staff is great and vibe is nice. I like going during lunch its only $12.99 to get the all you can eat there. Only Mon-Sat though. Sunday and after 3pm its $20 for all you can eat dinner. Its so worth it though. Come here like 3-4 times a month with friends and we always have a good time.

Comment: So delicious and affordable! The crab Rangoon was crispy, the California, Jalapeño, and Spicy Tuna rolls were great, and the Lo Mein and Fried Rice tasted great! Highly recommend!
