Comment: I really do enjoy this place, but be warned if you order delivery, as they package sashimi and raw cold rolls in the same container that they put hot items. Not the same bag, mind you, but the same actual takeout container so the cold dishes show up nice and lukewarm. Food safety 101.

Comment: To start off, I am not a fan of sushi. That being said, they have a great selection of other foods. This was a great place for our group who do like sushi and those who could be fine never eating sushi. Everyone was satisfied. Its a smaller place and is busy during lunch and supper hours. Portions and prices were decent. Parking in the front is tight and tough but there is a parking lot in the back. Just be cautious as there are blind spots and people. My sushi loving friends speak highly of the sushi. I speak highly of the Chinese dishes.

Comment: I was disappointed after thinking I was in for a treat based on the reviews. First, my salad was absolutely drowned in dressing. My sushi was not what sushi should be. One of the rolls was slightly dry at the end, like it had been cut and sat too long. Another roll was supposed to have scallions and when I called attention to the lack of scallions, I was told apologetically that it was just a little bit. So little I could neither see nor taste it. They added a sprinkling of DRIED scallions on top to fix it for me. Finally, the wasabi was very weak.

After tip, we spent $60 on three people for lunch on a recent Monday afternoon. I believe the all-you-can-eat price is $23-$25 on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, I think you have to pay for what you leave uneaten on your plate, so make sure you only order what you can eat.Ive been to other Sushi Ai locations in the St. Louis area and their quality just doesnt compare. This location though, I cant get enough of. Unfortunately, its about 45 minutes from my house. But its on the way to my mother-in-laws home, so we frequent them on our visits. I always leave feeling sick from overeating, but its absolutely worth it every time.The honey roll is unique to this restaurant, I dont think Ive seen it anywhere else and I highly recommend it. I order the fried philly, a california roll, miso soup, and ginger salad. My husband gets the spicy tuna and honey rolls and gyoza for an appetizer. Were also always more than satisfied with their service.Selinda served me and my pup on my last visit and was excellent, thank you! She kept my dogs water bowl full and gave her lots of lovins. 🐶❤️

Comment: Arnold is the best sushi ai location - always delicious and consistently good. We come here a few times every month. They do keep it a bit chilly inside so bring a jacket. There’s more parking behind the building and is easier to get out of if you park there instead of out front. Favorites of mine are the yummy roll and the St. Louis roll. Unfortunately yummy roll isn’t on the all you can eat but there’s lots of other good options on there. They do charge for uneaten pieces if you do all you can eat which I’ve seen some other people get justifiably mad about since it’s a bit ridiculous - not something that’s affected me but just a warning to people planning on just trying things out in case you don’t like one of the thing you order. Offering a sampler plate with a few pieces of each type might be a better option to cut down on that issue.

Comment: Having been to other “all you can eat” Sushi restaurants (not local ones) that offered the same all you can eat option at the same price, I was slightly disappointed at one thing. When ordering the sushi (all varieties) the only option is 1 full roll. There is no option for half rolls. Also, at these other similar restaurants there were other options on the All You Can Eat, not just sushi. But like Udon and Hibachi style options for those who didn’t want to only indulge on all things sushi.Overall, it would’ve been amazing to be able to order multiple types of sushi. instead of stopping at just one, or two rolls if you’re starving. The food was good and would consider returning.

Incredible value with the all you can eat, but only order what you can eat as you will be charged for what you dont, that enables you to try a ton of different things but stops you from being too much of a glutton. The sushi, rolls, and other dishes have been consistently great, with as quality as you can find in the Midwest ingredients. Service is good and as speedy as you will find at a sushi place. Drink menu is fair, and the apple sake is amazing. Havent had dessert there, but Im sure it would be adequate. One of my favorite places to go with the family, and a great stop in for carry-out lunch. Hope this place is here forever.

The sushi always tastes fresh and the non sushi offerings, such as the teriyaki dinners are always on point. The all you can eat deal is WELL worth it! I dont know if its still there, but I go there so much that I bought a VIP card for around $20 a few years ago that gives me 15% off every time I present the card. If you decide to be a regular customer, the VIP card is well worth it. On a very minor down note, if your looking for authentic Japanese sushi, Im pretty sure this isnt it, however, I dont mind that, as regardless of its authenticity, its still excellent food. I highly recommend this place. There are other SUSHI AI locations throughout St. Louis, but in my opinion, this is the best one in the St. Louis area. I rarely get sushi from anywhere else in St. Louis since discovering this place.

Comment: 不味い食べ物!!!! This was the worse Japanese Cuisine experience of my life. I grew up locally but have lived all across the West Coast and spent 6 months in Kyoto. I made an order for the Teriyaki Beef and Crab Rangoon as well as a bottle of Sake. It came with white rice and miso soup. My first complaint is even though I picked my food up only 10 minutes after order it was luke warm. They gave me a huge bowl of broccoli and vegetables and 5 tiny strips of dried out beef. I might as well ordered a salad cause most authentic Japanese places give you nothing but chicken or beef. This was my first time ever seeing so much veggies, obviously to be cheap. Second my Crab Rangoon was bland and just not worth the 7.00, it had no real taste. I tried the food and took it back after a few bites. I didnt even want a refund. Also the Sake was not real imported Sake but made in California and a brand I recognize from living there. So I over paid $10 for a grocery store brand of Sake. I seriously do not understand the high reviews of this place. I suggest the Japanese Steak House, HappyWok or any other place further into the city. To have such high rating tells me most people who go here dont even know what authentic Japanese food is. Truly terrible. 1/5 stars. Avoid if your out of town or have common sense. Over priced and not good at all

Even something as simple as acknowledging his ‘thank you’ always goes overlooked.I had reported this server to management months ago.It has obviously fallen on deaf ears.So now I will put this here to let other women know that this person does indeed make female customers feel extremely uncomfortable.Harassment isn’t just a one way street.Women can be just as guilty of it as well.Because no one wants to patronize any establishment to be constantly harassed or feel intimidated. No matter how ‘cute’ the perpetrator might think they are trying to be.I just hope in coming forward with this, that they will finally fix this problem; for the food as well as the price at this location, is actually very good.Because in this day & age, a staff member like this can ruin a companies reputation overnight with this type of unacceptable behavior.

Comment: I really used to love Sushi AI. Its only my second sushi restaurant. Im new to sushi. The food was always amazing, even to my limited exposure. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would go eat with friends at least once a week. Up until about 2 to 3 months ago, Id have given it 5 stars. Recently, the food quality isnt as good as it was and the ambiance has completely changed. The music played now is..... bizarre. Its too loud and you can hardly have a conversation when the restaurant is full between customers conversations and the music. The food quality is simply okay now. Sometimes its fresh tasting, but recently it has tasted off in texture and flavor. I miss the old Sushi AI with its amazing customer service and quality food.

Comment: This isnt some cut rate Chinese buffet sushi where all they have is the cheap California rolls with imitation crab. They have that if you want it but they have any kind of roll you want along with plenty of choices for sushi if you just want one kind of fish on top a bed of rice. This place is a sushi lovers dream come true as sushi is often too expensive to eat as much as you really want. At $20 it is an absolute no brainer.The staff is always very friendly and ready to pick up your next order for a quick turn around. Be careful though, your stomach may start feeling a little full after you have just placed your next order lol. It is absolutely fair that their policy is eat all you want, but eat all you take. You will have to pay extra for what you dont eat. Know your limits and order conservatively after your initial order and you wont have a problem.Bottom line is this place is unbelievable. The food is so good and truly is all you can eat. Before you run to the grocery store and pick up a 7 dollar roll, or go to a super expensive place like Shogun or Drunken Fish, come to this place first. Your face and you wallet will thank you for it.

Comment: My family and I come here every single Saturday for the all you can eat lunch special. I love the sushi and the atmosphere makes everything so much better. We have been treated with kindness and respect since day 1!! The food is always quick and fresh and the waiters are extremely nice and patient in explaining how the menu works. We usually always have a big group and they handle it with ease. The mochi is amazing also!

Comment: If you enjoy sushi, this is the place to go. Fresh and so flavorful!I want to point out that the portion of fresh sliced fish/crab/scallops is incredible! Typically, youll find just a thin sliver but here they really fill and/or top them correctly! The rolls are not rice heavy and are cut in widths you can actually fit into your mouth.They have a small dining room & get busy for dinner so best to come early.

Comment: I’ve had them for take about 4, maybe 5 times now. It has been delicious every single time. They have never messed up on any of my orders. The staff is extremely friendly. The first time I tried them was on valentine’s day, and they were crazy packed but my food was still perfectly ready in a timely manner. My friend recommended them to me and I’m glad I tried them out! I look forward to dining in soon

Comment: Valentines day, sick child at home, so we decided to try this place for take out. It was understandably very busy, waited for all of about 5 minutes (had placed order online ahead of time) and was out. I was very impressed at how energetic, friendly, and helpful the staff was. We were hesitant, but surprised at how good the good was. The only two bad things were the parking and how ignorant a couple of the other take out customers were (they must not have understood how busy this day is for most restaurants). 5 stars, I cant wait to try them out on a day they are a little less crowded.

I know it seems pricey for the all you can eat, but if your a sushi maniac like I am it is the only way to go with all the selections and different sides you can choose from. Kind staff and the place is very clean. Purchased the VIP card and was assured it can be used at other locations besides Arnold. Highly Recommend.

Comment: Love it! Not badly priced either. They have all you can eat lunch Monday through Saturday for 12.99, Sunday all day its the all you can eat dinner menu which is 19.99. The hubs and I usually only spend about $40 including drinks so we dont go for the all you can eat. For about $40 we are able to get 2 sodas, 4 rolls (3 regular classic, 1 special which is a little more expensive), and 2 appetizer. The wait staff is very friendly and the ambiance is very nice.

Comment: We decided to stop in and see what the full parking lot was all about. We found out. First off, place is clean and fresh looking. We were seated quickly and our server asked if we had been there before. We told him we had not and he gave us good info about the options and the menu. Then gave us enough space to look over the menus. This is a lost and often forgotten part of the dining experience in my opinion. We ordered a couple apps and rolls plus a few pieces of sushi. The app that was fire was the yellowtail new style. A well thoughtout and flavorful dish. The rest of our selections exceeded expectations. Stephanie was super helpful and really added to the overall experience. Yellowtail new style was so good, ordered one to go. If you appreciate sushi, then this is the place for you too. The staff seems to enjoy providing top shelf sushi as much as we like eating it. Enjoy.

Comment: This place is great. The hostess, Stephanie, was super friendly and my wife and I loved conversing with her as we waited for out meal to arrive. Our server Grace was very helpful in going over the menu for us and explaining their specials. The food was super fresh and it was served fast. We were shocked how fast the kitchen got out food out to us. We definitely will coming back to this place again the next time we are in the St. Louis area.

Comment: The wife and I visited Sushi AI on o/25. We were treated very quickly by multiple staff members. Within a minute we were seated (high volume time). The apperizers were absolutely perfect and delivered within 6 minutes after ordering. The 3 rolls were delivered around 4-5 minutes later. Every item we ordered was plated with care and was fresh. The serving staff are fantastic and very patient. The wife and I will be coming back very soon!!
